Sean D. Green, MSN APRN FNP-BC is the newest addition to Dr. Kofo Ekadi's Internal Medicine Practice (Delta Medical) in Burleson, TX, providing patient-centered personalized care, as well as education and teaching of acute and chronic disorders to improve outcomes.
Born in Kansas, but grew up in TCU area of Fort Worth, Sean graduated from R.L. Paschal High School, attended Texas Christian University for 2 years when he turned his attention to pursue a career in healthcare; specifically, in the field of Nursing. Sean initially graduated from Tarrant County College with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing in 1996 and became an RN at Texas Health Southwest Hospital in Fort Worth, TX.
Sean returned to school earning both his Bachelor's (1998), then Master's of Science in Nursing (2004), from the University of Texas at Arlington. It was during these years that Sean was recognized with several awards for his scholastic achievements, as well as the prestigious "Great 100 Nurses of DFW" award in 2004. In early 2005, he was awarded with his Board Certification in Family Practice from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and has been a Nurse Practitioner since that time.
Although readily busy with his patients, Sean is also an avid musician of many instruments including piano, guitar, and bass guitar, playing a variety of music including contemporary Jazz, Latin, Fusion and Classical. He enjoys traveling locally and abroad, and his friends and family often admire his culinary skills especially in Mediterranean and Mexican cuisines.
